The Spanish Steps
The Spanish Steps are one of the Italian artistic symbols in the world. The suggestive staircase joins the top, where there is the church of Trinità dei Monti, with the bottom where you find the Barcaccia fountain. This fountain remembers an historic event, the flood of 1558, when the typical river boats, called “Barcacce” joined from the Tiber the point where the fountain is at the moment.
It was first attributed to the famous artist Pietro Bernini, under the commission ofPope Urban VIII but in reality it is a work of his son, Gian Lorenzo.
At the top the Church of Trinità dei Monti, consacred by Sixtus V in 1587,  overlooks the square.
Its name is associated to the presence of the Spanish Embassy.

Chianti area
The characteristics of climate, soil and different altitudes make the territory of Chianti a region suited to the production of quality wines. The common characteristic of Chianti landscape Chianti are, in fact, the rows of vines that alternate olive trees. More than 7,000 hectares of vineyards registered as DOCG for the production of Chianti Classico make this title one of the most important in Italy.
The climate is continental, with very low temperatures in winter - below 4-5 degrees - and hot and dry summers, during which it rarely exceeds 35 degrees. Discrete are the temperature ranges throughout the day, also because of an accentuated altitude that by 250 meters reaches up to 600, exceeding 800 meters on the Chianti Mountains. The annual precipitation is around of 700-800 millimeters of rain, with a certain prevalence in the late autumn and spring.
For all wine lovers this is an area ideal for a wine tasting experience. Visits with tasting in Tuscany are possible in Chianti area in many realities as for example in the Enoteca of Fonterutoli that houses many labels of high quality wines produced in the surronding vineyards and exported all over the world.

The artistic manifestation will take place in Rome at the Museo del Corso, where will be more than 40 works of the artist. Among his subjects: black figures, images incorporated in the landscape of his youth (cars, policemen, cartoons, comic books, graffiti on canvas. Cultural models of urban areas, mainly black, often marginalized which are translated into works of strong emotional tension. And for who is interested to spend a sejourn in the Capital, we propose holiday accommodation in Rome.

Water Festival
The Water Festival is lied to an extremely ancient tradition. Since very remote times Piediluco has always celebrated the summer solstice with rites, purification ceremonies, the lighting of fires and a water-parade of allegorical craft. During the years the Festival has maintained its original caracheristics gradually expanding to include other events.
An event to be lived and for those who are interesting we suggest Umbria holiday rentals.
